Biological activities were determined as reported by Garnsey etal. (1987), 2005 using five different indicator plants, Mexican lime, sour orange, Duncan grapefruit, Madam vinous sweet orange, and sweet orange grafted onto sour orange rootstock. The plants are rated using a scale where 0 is healthy and 3 is most severe. The Mexican lime was rated for chlorosis, stunting, and stem pitting; sour orange for seedling yellows symptoms; Duncan grapefruit for seedling yellow, stem pitting, and stunting; Madam vinous sweet orange for chlorosis, stunting, and stem pitting, and the sweet orange on sour orange for decline.
