HS isolated from miR-24-overexpressing endothelial cells has reduced affinity for VEGFA. A, 3H-labeled HS was isolated from HUVECs transfected with pre-miR-24 or pre-miR-control, and binding to VEGFA was analyzed using a nitrocellulose filter binding assay. Increasing amounts of VEGFA were added to generate saturation binding curves. Analysis of the experimental data using GraphPad Prism yielded the indicated KD values.
