We asked, “About how much time do you spend in a typical workweek in all research activities at your institution: include all time spent writing proposals, papers, and reports, time spent planning and executing projects, time spent reviewing articles, and any laboratory time.”
Calculated for clinical faculty only. We asked, “About how much time do you spend in a typical work week in direct patient care services: include all time you spend directly related to patient care. patient record keeping, patient related office work, travel time connected with seeing patients. Please exclude time on call when not actually working.”
We asked, “About how much time do you spend in a typical work week in administrative activities at your institution: include clinical and academic administration, faculty and departmental meeting and departmental meeting and committees.”
