Immunoblot analysis of HIF1 (a) and HIF1 regulated genes, namely, EPO (b), GLUT1 (c), and VEGF (d) in A549 cells following hypoxia (0.5 % O2) exposure for 48 h. The treatment of cells with Cordyceps sinensis increased levels of HIF1, EPO, GLUT1, and VEGF following hypoxia exposure. The figures are representative of three independent experiments.
