Expression of FIP1 gene in human adipose tissue biopsies was quantified as described in the methods section and correlated with BMI (body mass index). Subjects were classified as non-obese if BMI<30 kg/m²(N=21) and obese if BMI>30 kg/m²(N=55). Diabetic patients were excluded.
