Table 1.

Schedule for phenotyping. Each round of phenotyping occurs over 6 days. During round 1 phenotyping, dead or abnormal embryos are removed on each day, and on 5 dpf non-phenotypic embryos are collected, which requires checking that all aspects of development are normal. During round 2 phenotyping, dead embryos are discarded but aspects of development are checked on each of the first 5 dpf. Phenotypic embryos are collected and photographed as soon as the phenotype is apparent, and on 5 dpf 46 non-phenotypic embryos are collected.
