Pulichalconoid B inhibits peroxyl radical-induced oxidation of DCFH to DCF in primary microglial cells. Microglial cells were incubated for 1 h with pulichalconoid B or quercetin. Then, cells were preloaded with DCF-DA for 30 min and washed. ABAP (0.6 mM) was added to the culture, and the fluorescence intensity, representing ROS levels was measured.
