Abbreviation: NSTEMI, non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction.
Incident CHD defined as adjudicated definite or probable myocardial infarction or definite or probable CHD death. Values are expressed as number (percentage) unless otherwise indicated.
Defined as an adjudicated definite or probable MI with peak troponin level of less than 0.5 µg/L. The percentages reflect the number of incident very small NSTEMIs divided by the number of nonfatal incident CHD events.
