These attack rates are compared with the no-vaccination alternative among (a) individuals of ages 4 and under, (b) individuals between ages 5 and 19, (c) individuals between ages 20 and 44, (d) individuals between ages 45 and 64, (e) individuals of ages 65+, and (f) high-risk individuals. We assumed that the peak of H1N1 influenza pandemic occurs 30 days after the implementation of vaccination, and that 20% of the population was vaccinated.
