A comparison of the fatigue crack growth parameters resulting from cyclic crack extension in the environments. The numerical values of the parameters listed for both conditions represent the average and standard deviation obtained from results of the individual specimens evaluated in HBSS (N=32) and lactic acid (N=6). In comparing results for pH=5 and pH=7, all three of the fatigue crack growth parameters were significantly different (p ≤ 0.05).
