(C-D) Negatively marked dome mutant clones generated in a Minute background caused mild defects in Wg expression in clones that spanned the hinge region (C). Similar defects in Wg expression were observed in the ventral hinge in stat92E mutant clones (see examples in Fig. 2D and Fig. 5D). (D) In rare cases, the hinge was more severely affected in the clones (in 2 large clones in 45 discs examined).
