Inhibition of cancer cell proliferation by miRNAs in the presence or absence of TP53. TP53 genotype-dependent effects of miRNAs in isogenic cancer cell lines. Cells expressing (+/+; +/SIL) or lacking functional (−/− −/SIL) TP53 were transfected with increasing concentrations of miRNAs ranging from 0.01 to 30 nmol/l.
