Fig. 3 — Demonstration of typical ai-fMRI artifacts. The artifacts in one of the volumes of intraoperative BOLD-fMRI in patient 6 (this patient was removed from further analyses). The functional image is overlaid on that patient's structural image. Susceptibility artifacts (3, 4) were caused by the resection cavity (1) and the MRI-compatible head fixation pin (2), respectively. Label 5 indicates the Nyquist ghost artifact. Label 6 indicates the brain shift.
