Results obtained from typical (N= 1) WT (open symbols; black lines) and Scn5a^+/− (filled symbols; grey lines) hearts in the RV epicardium (A) and RV endocardium (B), before (circles; continuous line) and following addition of flecainide (squares; dashed line) or quinidine (triangles; dotted line). The data displayed represent hearts showing the Mdn value of λ′_max in the experimental group concerned. Such curves fall closer together particularly at low λ′₀ values than the plots shown in either Figs 3 or 5, or previously reported APD restitution curves. Values could differ at higher values of λ′₀.
