The effect of protein synthesis inhibitors on Gln3-Myc¹³ localization in wild-type cells cultured under nitrogen-limiting conditions. Wild-type strain TB123 was cultured in nitrogen-limited, YNB-proline medium. At zero time, the cultures were sampled, followed immediately by addition of protein synthesis inhibitor as follows: 10 and 200 μgm/ml cycloheximide (A and B, left and right panels, respectively), 10 μm DHBB (C and D), or 10 mm L-norvaline (E and F).
