Plants with impaired GLS synthesis in roots or the rosette were constructed by reciprocal micrografting of the myb28 myb29 cyp79b2 cyp79b3 quadruple mutant (qko) and Col-0 wild type (wt). GLS content of the entire 3-week-old grafted plants was analyzed by LC-MS and related to levels found in the entire wild type. Numbers are averages, and sd is shown in parentheses.
