The coordination of PIAS1 and Smad4 in zinc-induced LNCaP cell apoptosis and Smad4 nuclear translocation. (a) PIAS1-coordinated Smad4 promotes zinc-induced cell apoptosis. LNCaP cells transfected with indicated plasmids were treated with 100 μM zinc for 24 h. The apoptotic percentages of cells were measured by flow cytometry.
