The 13 D-genome pseudo molecules are plotted on all y-axes. (A) Di01-Di13 indicates the 13 chromosomes on the D-genome genetic map; (B) Chr.01−Chr.26 indicates the 26 tetraploid chromosomes of cotton. Both the relative genetic and physical distances of the chromosomes on the plots are represented by the cells of different sizes according to the ratio of the chromosome lengths. Chromosome arm inversions (red ovals) and translocations (red arrows) are highlighted.
