We observe inverse correlations between sales of hand-gels, and incidence of influenza-like-illness and acute diarrhea. We also observe no hand-gels sales increase during the two epidemic seasons (2007–2008, 2008–2009) preceding the pandemic and the one following it (2010–2011).
