Immunohistochemical staining demonstrated abundant PDE5 expression in hearts of PDE5-TG (A, B) compared to WT (C, D). At higher magnification (20x, B, D), moderate PDE5 expression can be observed in the wall of cardiac blood vessels of both genotypes, while abundant PDE5-expression is present in cardiomyocytes of PDE5-TG.
