(A) c-Fos or the corresponding c-Fos deletion mutants depicted on Fig. 7B or mock transfected PC12 cells were cultured for the indicated time in the presence of NGF, then medium was replaced by fresh medium and cultured up to 4 d. Cells were pulsed with [³²P]orthophosphate 2 h before harvesting, and ³²P-phospholipid labeling was determined. Results are the mean ± SEM of three independent experiments performed in triplicate. ^*p < 0.0001 as determined by Student's t test.
