(A and B) Images from a macaque that demonstrated mild SIVE at autopsy. No significant changes were observed between preinfection and postinfection images. (C and D) Images from a macaque that demonstrated severe SIVE at autopsy. Mild increase in CSF space and parenchymal atrophy were observed in the macaque. No contrast enhancement was observed in any brain at any time.
