Associated proteins were separated on SDS PAGE, silver stained and identified by mass spectrometry. HEK 293T cells overexpressing empty Flag plasmid were used as control. (B) Disruption of DNA-dependent interactions by EtBr. (C) In contrast to recombinant bacterial expressed SIRT1-Flag, recombinant bacterial expressed SIRT6-Flag did not co-immunoprecipitate with any of the histone octamers, H2A, H2B, H3 and H4, in vitro.
