Influence of a 6-h incubation with 100 μM oleic acid on VEGF-A synthesis (Panel A) and secretion (Panel B) in VSMC from LZR without or with a 24-h pre-incubation with H₂O₂. H₂O₂ completely blunts the above mentioned effects of oleic acid on VEGF-A (n = 6, p = 0.0001 vs. oleic acid alone).
