Neurons that contained either nuclear or cytoplasmic fluorescence were manually counted and calculated as a percentage of the sum of both nuclear and cytoplasmic neurons. A higher percentage of neurons that had only cytoplasmic staining for both TEF and YAP was found in neurons from HFD embryos compared to chow.
