Involvement of MRC complex I in TPL-mediated ROS generation. (A) Cells were pre-treated with or without 5 mM NAC for 1 h and exposed to 100 nM TPL for 24 h. The acivities of the complexes in the mitochondria that were isolated from the SKOV3^PT cells were determined using MRC Complex Enzyme Activity Assay kits. Three independent experiments were performed and the data are represented as the mean ± SD (^**P<0.01 vs. TPL without NAC). (B) Cells were treated with 100 nM TPL for the indicated time periods.
