NZPCs indicate Purkinje myocytes dispersed from subendocardium the left ventricle of non-infarcted hearts. IZPCs indicate Purkinje myocytes from subendocardium of 48-hour infarcted hearts. Values for the half-maximum voltage, V0.5, and the slope factor, k, were obtained by best-fitting the data from each cell to a Boltzmann function. Erev indicates reversal potential of I-V curves of I Na. All data are presented as mean ± SE.
