RMS_sum values represent the sum of the vastus lateralis, vastus medialis and rectus femoris individual values obtained for every sprint, and are normalised to the first sprint value. No interaction effect (condition x set or condition x sprint) was found for mechanical work or RMS_sum. § indicates a main effect of the condition: hypoxia reduced mechanical work (-8.3%, P = 0.019) and RMS_sum (-13.7%, P = 0.022).
