The acoustic cues pitch (F0), formant frequencies F1 and F2, VOT, and burst duration were quantified for each sound using Praat [96] and WaveSurfer [97] software. Please note that the values of F0, F1, and F2 that the rats heard were twice the values listed in the table, while VOT and burst duration were unaffected.
