Simulated effects of a dump pulse at 10 ps, leading to 30% depletion of the excited-state, for the excited-state isomerization (A) and mixed-state isomerization (B) models. The time constants used on the models from Figures 1B and 1C are: τFC = 150 fs, τ1 = 500 fs, τ2 = 3 ps, τ-2 = 6.5 ps, τ2’ = 55 ps, τ3 = 30 ps, and τ4 = 3 ps. The mixed model has non-unity Lumi-R yield at CI to make φLumi-R = 15 %. Lines are simulated pump-probe (solid) and PDP (dashed) concentrations.
