Muc, mucins; Tff, trefoil factor; FF, Helicobacter hepaticus-free condition; FF+H.hep, H. hepaticus infected. The mean steady-state mRNA level for the FF group was assigned a value of 1.00, and mean mRNA level from the FF+H.hep was determined relative to this number.
