The nos. represent the fold change of gene expression after 3, 5 and 7 days (d3, d5, d7, respectively) of mechanical overload compared with control non-overloaded muscles. Italicized numbers mean that the fold change in gene expression is lower than 50% decrease. The selected genes were differentially expressed (twofold increase or 50% decrease) at least one time between d3 and d7.
