Multivalent binding is required for internalization. Internalization assays were conducted by incubating Huh-7 cells with biotinylated constructs at concentrations indicated at 37°C. Maximal internalization was seen at (A) 60 minutes for IgG constructs and 15 minutes for the (B) F(ab)2 and (C) Fab constructs.
