(A) MUS81⁺ (W303-1a strain) and mus81Δ (YMV39 strain) cells were blocked in G1, released into medium with 0.2 M HU for 90 min and then allowed to progress through the cell cycle in medium without the drug. Samples were taken at the indicated time points and the DNA content was analysed by flow cytometry. (B) Cell viability after HU treatment.
