Fractionation of crude extract used for toxicological assessment of V. rugosum. Approximately 99% and 96% of PnTX were recovered in DCM and aqueous MeOH phases during the first and second partitioning, respectively. More than 99% of PnTX-G was recovered in fraction 3 of the silica solid phase extraction (SPE) step.
