Mice were infected with 102 PFU of WNV in the footpad. Splenocytes were harvested and analyzed by flow cytometry at day 7 after infection. Numbers and percentages of the indicated populations are shown as means (SEMs) of approximately 15 mice per group. CD8+, IFN-γ+, and TNF-α+ populations represent cells that were restimulated with an immunodominant WNV peptide.
