Mice were infected with 102 PFU of WNV in the footpad. Splenocytes were harvested and analyzed by flow cytometry at 7 days after infection. Values indicate the geometric mean fluorescence intensity of the indicated phenotypic marker within IFN-γ+ or TNF-α+ populations, shown as means (SEMs) of approximately 15 mice per group. Asterisk indicates significant differences between WT and MDA5−/− cells.
