Growth factors secreted from MSCs in fibrin glue. (A) MSCs with or without fibrin glue were incubated for 15 days in the DMEM. Supernatants were collected every 3 days and assessed for the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF). The levels of VEGF and HGF secreted from MSCs in fibrin glue were sustained throughout the experimental period. In contrast, levels of these factors were significantly lower at all times for MSCs cultured without fibrin glue.
