Hypocotyl length and the percentage of hypocotyl length relative to normal conditions were measured by ImageJ. The average and SE are presented (n=60) for ACC in three independent experiments. A higher concentration of ACC in the dark shows reduced hypocotyl length more in the WT than in the acs7-1 mutant.
