Two clinical scores are shown: (1) a modified streptococcal score (model 5; 1 point each for: Fever during the last 24 h, Purulent tonsils, Attend rapidly (3 days or less), very Inflamed throat and No cough or coryza (FeverPAIN)) and (2) for comparison the Centor score (1 point each for pus, fever in the last 24 h, cervical glands and the absence of cough).
