The effect of hAAT on TLR2 and TLR4 during cecal puncture (CP) model. CP was performed with the following groups: untreated sham-operated mice (Sham, n = 2), untreated CP-operated mice (n = 4), mice pretreated with hAAT (60 mg/kg), and then CP-operated (n = 5). Also, CP-treated mice were introduced recombinant gp96 (i.p., 80 μg/kg, once, 24 h after the surgical procedure). Peritoneal cells were obtained 72 after CP by lavage and immediately stained for surface activation markers. Representative dot plots are shown. Bottom, pooled results.
