Absence of VHL decreased BaP metabolism, but increased BaP metabolites. RCC4-VHL (□) and RCC4 cells (■) were incubated with 0.1 μM BaP for 18 h and extracellular unmetabolized BaP (A), BaP-9,10-diOH (B), BaP-7,8-diOH (C), and 3-OH BaP (D) metabolites were measured.
