The gene product names are indicated as follows: for most eukaryotic genes, the Homo sapiens nomenclature is used, but in several cases, both H. sapiens and Saccharomyces cerevisiae gene names are given for clarity. Archaeal genes are named as in Barry and Bell (2006) or as discussed in the text. The dotted outline in some shapes indicates components that could not be confidently traced to LACA. Small circles with “P” inside indicate phosphorylation.
