Table 1.

Species-specific primer sets with optimum PCR cycles are shown in this table. All primer sets demonstrate specificity at 65 °C annealing temperature, a full description of the touchdown PCR cycle is available in the Materials and Methods section. Gel electrophoresis of the PCR products reveals visible bands at the expected amplicon lengths (Fig 4)
