Polarized mpkCCDc14 cells were fed with media containing resveratrol or vehicle control for the times indicated. Cell extracts (50 µg protein) were separated on a 4–12% SDS gel. (A). Representative immunoblot analysis of the time-dependence of resveratrol-mediated AMPK activation, as measured by immunoblotting of phosphorylated AMPKα (p-AMPKα) in polarized mpkCCDc14 cells. (B). Density of p-AMPKα bands were quantified and normalized to protein loading using β-actin as control, and means ± SEM were plotted (n = 3), *p<0.01 relative to vehicle control at same time point.
