Affymetrix microarray data, shown in arbitrary units of absolute signal intensity, are from NASC (http://affymetric.arabidopsis.info/). The LTP type, Mr (without the putative N-terminal signal peptide), and pI data are from Boutrot et al. (2008). The flower bud stages were defined according to The Arabidopsis Information Resource. Low levels of the LTP transcripts in other plant parts are shown. Type III LTP transcripts are highlighted in boldface.
