Targeted mutation frequencies at MDS/+1 and MDS/−5 in Δung strain. Processed plasmid carrying MDS/+1 or MDS/−5 was recovered from surviving bacterial clones and sequenced. Clones with mutations targeted at modified bases were considered as mutated clones. Non-targeted mutations were not considered in the calculation of MF at MDS/+1 and MDS/−5.
