Note. R2 = .43. The following variables were eliminated from the final multivariate model as nonsignificant: age, gender, education, psychiatric symptoms (Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale), insight into disorder (Insight and Treatment Attitudes Questionnaire), IQ (American National Reading Test), diagnosis, psychiatric hospitalization, PAD content, and perceptions of F-PAD intervention. PAD = psychiatric advance directive; DCAT-PAD = Decisional Competence Assessment Tool for Psychiatric Advance Directive; F-PAD = facilitated psychiatric advance directive.
