S1 and S2 denote the slopes of the fitted lines to the Enhancement Factor curves for the DNA damages presented in Fig. 3 at ratios less and more that 3.1 × 10−4 Pt-adducts per nucleotide, respectively. R1,2 is the ratio of S1 to S2.
