At APR1 interacts with AtNfu2 in a yeast-two hybrid assay. CY306 strain (35) was co-transformed with pGAD.APR1 and individual pGBK.Nfu constructs and plated as serial dilutions on a control plate containing histidine (+His, left panel) and on a test plate containing 2 mM 3-amino triazol (3AT) without histidine (−His, right panel). Yeast cells were allowed to grow at 30°C for 4 days. Neither pGAD.APR1/empty pGBK nor empty pGAD/pGBK.Nfu2 co-transformations allowed yeast growth (not shown). Results shown here are the means of 4 independent experiments.
